Merhaba,
İzmir, Çeşme, Reisdere Köyü’nde doğdum.
Çınarlı Endüstri Meslek Lisesi, Makina Ressamlığı Bölümü'nden mezun oldum.
Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi’nden “Makine Mühendisi” Lisans derecesini aldım.
Aynı üniversiteden "Öğretim Görevlisi" olarak emekli oldum.
On yıl süre ile bir sanayi kuruluşunda, teknik ve idari görevler yaptım.
Küçüklüğümde, fotoğrafçının bana doğrulttuğu fotoğraf makinesinden korkardım. Sonraları, onun bir tehdit değil yaşama dair anları ölümsüzleştiren bir cihaz olduğunu fark edecektim. 29 yaşında, fotoğrafın bulunuşunun 150. yılında fotoğraf çekmeye başladım. “Karanlık Oda”dan “Aydınlık Oda”ya, tüm süreçleri deneyimleme şansını elde ettim. Fotoğrafın “sanatsal anlatım dili” olarak gelişmesi adına, Türkiye ve İzmir’de “kurumsal” olarak yürütülen etkinliklere katkıda bulundum.
Yapıtlarımda; Fotoğraf'ın teknik, estetik ve sanatsal anlamdaki olanaklarını ayırt etmeksizin, anlatımcı yaklaşımı benimsemekteyim.

I was born in Reisdere Village, Çeşme, İzmir.
I graduated from Çınarlı Vocational High School, Department of Mechanical Drawing.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in "Mechanical Engineering" from Dokuz Eylül University.
I retired from the same university as a "Lecturer".
I worked in technical and administrative positions in an industrial organization for ten years.
When I was a child, I was afraid of the camera that the photographer pointed at me. Later, I would realize that it was not a threat but a device that immortalized moments of life. I started taking photos at the age of 29, on the 150th anniversary of the discovery of photography. I had the chance to experience all the processes from the "Dark Room" to the "Bright Room". I contributed to the events carried out "institutionally" in Turkey and İzmir for the development of photography as an "artistic language of expression". In my works; I adopt a narrative approach without distinguishing the technical, aesthetic and artistic possibilities of photography.
